The rock band KISS is going international and Gene Simmons is giving us an insider’s look at the New Year’s Eve party.
Even though Christmas isn’t even here yet, Simmons is already looking ahead to the NYE celebration. On Sunday, Simmons shared snaps giving a glimpse at the stunning stage being built for the “Kiss 2020 Goodbye” performance.
He writes, “The KissStage is being built!!! KISS – Live From Dubai, New Year’s Eve!!!”
The platform is still in a pre-stage of sorts, but it’s backdropped by the impressive Atlantis Dubai resort. The resort is gorgeous in its own right, with white sand and the beautiful signature Atlantis architecture.
Furthermore, the stage looks like it’s being place on a portion of the white sand that’s adjacent to a beautiful blue swimming pool.
Gene Simmons Gets Ready to Kiss 2020 Goodbye
The KISS foursome are ready to say goodbye to 2020 in a big way. The group’s planning a larger-than-life performance for New Year’s Eve. The show’s synopsis on the “KISS 2020 Goodbye” website explains what to expect.
“The iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, multi-platinum selling band is reigniting the FIRE and roaring back to life! In true KISS fashion, they are bringing the biggest & baddest concert event and pyrotechnics show of the year, proving once again, that KISS never does anything small.”
The show will be available to live stream for a fee. However, the preshow is free. The live performance is happening on December 31 at 12 pm EST.
Additionally, Landmarks Live is producing the spectacle. They promise to use more than 50 cameras to give a 360-degree view of the rockers.
The website also states, “You’re invited to spend New Year’s Eve with The Demon, The Starchild, The Spaceman, and The Catman as they rock out of 2020 and roll into 2021…all night!”
