“Gold Rush” fans can mark this date down on their calendars. What date is it? The start of this show’s 12th season on Discovery.
Get ready because Parker Schnabel, Tony Beets, and other gold-mining-team captains are going to hit the Yukon area on Sept. 24. That’s right. Mark it down and make time for your favorite show at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central, on Friday nights.
Discovery revealed this information on Thursday.
“Gold Rush” brings a lot of focus and attention to the lives and times of these miners out there battling. Yes, they are always fighting to find as much gold as possible. Weather issues, though, can play a definite role, especially as the ones out in the elements have to focus on multiple situations.
Schnabel has been a part of the show since its first season. Only Fred Dodge and Chris Doumitt, who are recurring guest stars, have been on “Gold Mine” the same length as Schnabel right now.
Beets has been a part of it since its second season. Roger Schnabel, Parker’s father and original miner of the Big Magnet mine, and Rick Ness also have been part of “Gold Mine” since its second season.
So, like we were saying to you, Outsiders, mark the day and time down. Discovery is getting ready to release another exciting season on the television network.
‘Gold Rush’ Miner Sought Better Experience In Season 11 After Tough Year
Rick Ness is definitely one of the most recognized miners on “Gold Rush” these days. People watch Ness and the other gold miners go for their best seasons in the mines.
But Ness took time to open up about dealing with a tough Season 10 on the show.
It’s common for some people to dismiss their tough situations. Not Ness. What he wanted to do is learn from that down situation while working hard against more seasoned miners in competition with Ness.
“I took last season really, really hard,” Ness said in an interview with Monsters & Critics. “That’s not something I’m used to, just with things that I do in my life.”
Ness worked with Schnabel’s team as a miner on it. He tasted the sweet nectar of success during his time there. When dealing with failure, though, Ness was looking to forge a redemptive stance entering the show’s 11th season.
“It took me all winter to come to terms with it,” he said in the interview. “I ended up accepting what happened and accepted my part in it. And just use that as my fuel for this year. Obviously, redemption is huge on my mind.”
Ness will be on “Gold Rush” again this coming season. He will look to score a victory over other mining teams.
