Think you have what it takes to be on “Gold Rush”? Well, the show’s star, Parker Schnabel is looking for a new crew.

“Gold Rush” fans are well aware of Parker Schnabel‘s ambitious ways. According to his bio on the show’s website, “Since Parker’s feet could reach the pedals, he’s been operating heavy machinery and learning the trade.” In fact, Parker was only 16 years old when he took over his grandfather’s business at the family’s gold mine, Big Nugget. Since then, he’s managed a team of miners twice his age, set up his own mining operation, and opened up additional sites. Now, he’s looking for some help.

Apply For A Job Alongside ‘Gold Rush’ Star Parker Schnabel

The “Gold Rush” star is looking to hire a new mining crew. According to the job posting, no previous mining experience is necessary. However, Parker is looking for people with mechanical skills, heavy equipment operating experience, who have worked as a foreman. And if none of that applies to you, there’s still hope. For all those dedicated “Gold Rush” fans who have always dreamed of becoming a gold miner, you can still apply. Parker just asks that you include “a good reason why you want to make a move into gold mining.”

The job listing also requires that people be tough and motivated. The listing states, “You must be willing to work hard in cold and difficult conditions from mid-October to mid-December.”

If there’s one thing “Gold Rush” fans know about Parker it’s that he thinks outside the…gold mine. He’s not going to do things the old-school way just for the sake of tradition. He wants to keep growing and expanding and evolving to keep up with modern-day mining. And that’s good news for all you aspiring “Gold Rush” stars. The listing also states that Parker is looking for a melting pot of talents and experiences. It states, “Parker is looking to hire a crew with a mix of skills and experience they bring to the table.”

The only other requirement is that applicants are or 18 and legally allowed to work in the US. If you read all that and feel like you fit the bill perfectly, apply here.

Bonus Point If You Like To Ride Dirt Bikes

This is certainly not included in the job listing. However, during an interview in Parker Schnabel talked about how he decompresses after dealing with the stress of running a gold-mining business.

“I don’t know, you just kind of get focused on working and most of the time it doesn’t bother you too much,” said Parker. “If I need to let some steam off I have a dirt bike and I go for a ride. I love riding my bike.

No, dirt bike skills aren’t required. But being able to join Parker for a ride after work, may give you a few extra brownie points during your interview!
