Guest-Host David Faber Posts Excellent ‘Jeopardy!’ Themed Tweet After Being Tapped for New Role

Recently, Jeopardy! announced who would be on the game show’s final slate of guest hosts. Among the remaining names is David Faber who is a co-host of CNBC’s Squawk on the Street.

The game show said that the dates that his episodes will be airing from August 2, 2021, to August 6. This final round of guest hosts getting one week to showcase their ability to host Jeopardy!

After Faber found out that he was chosen to be one of the final guest hosts, he took to social media. The reaction he posted to Twitter was priceless. He posed a hilarious hypothetical question after the game show tweeted the names of the guest hosts.

What if a question on the show was about who the least known guest host in the final grouping? So, the phrase that the contestants need to solve is, “He is the least well-known out of an incredible group of guest hosts but promises not to disappoint Jeopardy’s many fans.” And the “Correct response: This guy!”

David Faber Getting the Call to Be a Part of “Jeopardy!”

David Faber is perfectly qualified to take on the role of guest host. Even though he may not be the biggest name in the group of announced hosts, the role should suit him well.

He played on Celebrity Jeopardy! during the show’s 28th season for Power Players Week. So, Faber will be well suited for the heat of the moment.

Additionally, Mike Richards, the executive producer of the show, has made it a point to bring in as many different personalities as possible. He said that “Our goal has been to present a wide variety of guest hosts with different skill sets and backgrounds on our path to finding a permanent host.”

Richards also said in the press release that “All of the guest hosts have brought individualism, energy and an authentic love of our show to each of their episodes.” So, it makes sense that Faber will join Jeopardy!

Faber is an award-winning journalist. He does a variety of things for CNBC in addition to being a co-host. His resume speaks for itself, but he boasts Loeb, Emmy, Peabody, and duPont awards. The soon-to-be Jeopardy! guest-host has also published two books.

So, his fans will eagerly await his turn to stand behind the podium on the game show.
