Guy Fieri Joins Nickelback for Epic Star-Studded Photo

by Anna Dunn

Guy Fieri and Nickleback may not be the combo you were expecting to see today, but a new star-studded photo shows the beloved celebrity restaurateur hanging out with the band.

Nickleback has been a hot topic ever since their early days. Known for their songs Far Away, Rockstar, How You Remind Me, and the lovingly memed Photograph, Nickleback has had multiple chart-topping moments.

Meanwhile, Guy Fieri is one of the most infamous and beloved restauranteurs around. The TV show host is known for his massive personality and flame patterned sense of fashion.

“Y’all about to head to Flavortown?” one fan wrote in response to the photo.

“At least we know that Sammy Hagar and Guy Fieri are different people now,” another person joked.

Guy Fieri Just Opened a New Restaurant

Fieri owns multiple restaurants and just opened up a new one in Nashville. The “mayor of flavor town” is thrilled to bring some of that flavor to the city. The restaurant, called Chicken Guy!, sounds like a super fun time.

“Nashville is one of the most exciting cities in America, and I am stoked to bring Chicken Guy! to 2nd Avenue to add to the party,” Fieri said in a statement. “Music City knows great food, and we’re proud to bring out 22 house-made sauces, killer chicken, and good times to the mix.”

This isn’t the first Chicken Guy! to open. After finding success at Disney Springs, the restauranteur started eyeing expansion. Nashville may be the first new place for Chicken Guy! but it hopefully won’t be the last, because the menu truly sounds delicious.

While the focus is fried chicken, the menu also offers plenty of alternative items that would keep any customer happy.

The Food Network Star Has Done a Lot For Charity

Guy Fieri isn’t just a fun personality with a zest for food, he’s also quite the giver. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Fieri raises 21.5 million dollars for unemployed restaurant workers with the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund.

Restaurant workers were some of the hardest hit during the pandemic, with safety-related restaurant closures shuttering businesses, sometimes for good. Fieri called upon companies like Uber Eats, Pepsi Co, and Moët Hennessy USA.

“Guy Fieri has raised $21.5 million for unemployed restaurant workers, which means Guy Fieri has done more for unemployed restaurant workers than Congress has in the last 8 months,” famous CEO Dan price said on Twitter last December.

This also isn’t Fieri’s first time with charitable work, and fans doubt it’ll be his last. But when he’s not working on his next flavortown venture or giving back to communities, he gets to chill with rockstars. Hopefully, he’ll be able to expand his Chicken Guy! restaurant to other areas in the United States.
