by Madison Miller

Most people know Eve Plumb as the middle daughter, Jan Brady, on “The Brady Bunch.” Today the actress from the sitcom is turning 63.

In addition to a career with the other “The Brady Bunch” stars, what has Plumb been keeping busy doing? She started as a child actor but has continued to grow with the business.

‘The Brady Bunch’ and Reunions

Eve Plumb started to act alongside Robert Reed, Florence Henderson, Maureen McCormick, Barry Williams, and others in 1969. The show was a massive hit, both then and now in the form of syndication. However, it was canceled in 1974.

After that, Eve Plumb would again be Jan Brady in a variety of different reunion films and TV shows for the rest of her career. She appeared in “The Brady Girls Get Married,” “The Brady Brides,” “A Very Brady Christmas,” “The Brady Kids,” and “The Bradys.” All these appearances stretched out to 1990.

She also would appear in a number of reunions for the show over the years. That includes “The Brady Bunch 35th Anniversary Reunion Special: Still Brady After All These Years.”

Besides squealing “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!” Eve Plumb would also get the chance to have roles in other films and shows during her career. Her first big role after the series was “Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway” in 1976. She also has the role of Beth in NBC’s “Little Women” rendition in 1978.

Throughout her career, she made appearances in projects like “Here’s Lucy,” “All My Children,” “Wonder Woman,” “Fantasy Island,” and “The Facts of Life.”

Eve Plumb Painting Business

Eve Plumb has found another passion besides acting. The actress also enjoys art and started painting and eventually selling her work.

For more than two decades, Plumb’s work has shown up in different galleries across the country. She works from her home and studio located in New York City.

On her official site, fans of Plumb can look to see the kind of artwork she creates. Her work falls under the categories of film noir, still-life, Westerns, lithographs, and work inspired by the HGTV remodel of “The Brady Bunch” house from a couple of years ago.

“Painting is a creative outlet for me when I’m not acting. It gives me a feeling of control over my creative life. An actor often has to wait for projects to come along, but I can paint any time of the day. I sometimes describe my art as ‘spontaneous still life’. Whenever I see a likely subject, everything stops and I take photographs. This holds the moment in time until I can paint it,” Plumb wrote on her site.

In addition, Eve Plumb has also recently started her business called Plumb Goods. Here she sells candles, t-shirts, tote bags, and other goods. “I’ve always loved home décor and colorful accessories that balance playfulness, comfort & style. My brand is designed to bring a smile …”
