A major country music superstar can count “Happy Days” icon Henry Winkler on her growing list of fans.
This week, the man famous for playing Arthur “The Fonz” Fonzarelli demonstrated his major love for this singer and songwriter via social media.
“Montana is so lucky!! One of the great voices of our time,” Winkler shared on his Twitter page.
So, what star is Winkler talking about? It is none other than Brandi Carlile. The “Happy Days” star shared his feelings about Carlile in response to a video she also shared on Twitter. This video shows children having fun at the place in Montana where Carlile was about to perform.
With the video, Carlile added: “I am so excited to play my first gig back that the twins and I literally camped at the venue last night! Never taking any of this for granted. Let’s do this Montana #campxobc.”
‘Happy Days’ Legend Henry Winkler Has Praised Brandi Carlile Before
This week’s tweet is not the only time “Happy Days” legend Henry Winkler has praised Brandi Carlile. He did so earlier this year after she released her memoir. Titled, “Broken Horses,” the book climbed all the way to the very top spot of The New York Times Bestseller List.
After that news came to light, Carlile was videoed hearing it for the first time. Of course, she was very, very excited. She was also very surprised at the news. “What?! No!” she exclaimed. “Oh, s***! I can’t believe it!”
She later shared this video on Twitter. The “Happy Days” star, who is an author himself, saw it and tweeted, “Congratulations,” in response.
In the book, Carlile recounts situations in her life that helped her become the respected artist and person she is today. She is open about both the highs and the lows of her life.
Winkler’s love for Brandi Carlile goes back years. During a 2018 interview with The Chicago Tribune, “Happy Days” star Henry Winkler praised her singing voice.
“I would love to sing. … when I come back, if there is such a thing as reincarnation, I’m coming back as The Boss, with a touch of singers Sia and Brandi Carlile,” he shared. “A little combination of them with the poetry of Leonard Cohen. I really, really wish I could sing.” That would not be a bad combination at all!
