What are the actors of Hocus Pocus doing today?
The Children
Omri Katz who played Max, has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part. Prior to starring in the Disney flick, he was a series regular in Dallas and Eerie, Indiana.
Vinessa Shaw, who played Allison in the movie, has been steadily acting since the viral Halloween movie. She starred in the television shows Ray Donovan and Vegas. Additionally, she’s appeared as a guest on countless television shows.
Thora Birch has been keeping up with everything spooky as she starred in Ghost World. Furthermore, she recently played Gamma and Mary in AMC’s The Walking Dead. She has also appeared in American Beauty, Colony, Parenthood, among other projects.
The Sisters
Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker are still friends to this day. They are even hosting a Hocus Pocus reunion for the New York Preservation Society which Midler helps run. All three Sanderson sisters agree that this film is one of their if not all-time favorite movie.
Midler is obviously a screen legend who has appeared in numerous high-profile projects along with her music. After Hocus Pocus, she went on to star in First Wives Club, which also became a cult classic.
Najimy has still worked with Disney on numerous occasions, most of which are Halloween films. She acted in The Scream Team along with Descendants. The year prior to Hocus Pocus she starred in Sister Act and went on to star in the second installment of the franchise.
Five years after the release of Hocus Pocus, Sarah Jessica Parker landed the role of Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City franchise.

The human actor for Thackery Binx was played by Sean Murray. Murray has portrayed McGee in NCIS for the last seventeen years.
Everyone’s favorite zombie, Billy, was portrayed by Doug Jones. Jones has been extremely busy acting in both television and films. He recently starred as Baron Afanas in What We Do In The Shadows. He also appeared in Hellboy II, The Watch, Star Trek: Discovery, Crimson Peak, among others. Additionally, he starred in The Shape of Water as the anonymous amphibian man.
Larry Bagby who played the bully, Ice, also went on to star in both t.v. and film. He starred in Walk The Line, The Trial, among others. He also starred in Buffy The Vampire Slayer as Larry Blaisdell. Finally, he starred in Young & The Restless as Frank Ellis.
