Ever since it went on air a few years ago, HGTV’s house makeover series “Home Town” has built a large and still growing following.
A big reason for the show’s success is the chemistry between its two stars, Ben and Erin Napier. A happy couple full of southern charm, the couple remodel older homes into modern masterpieces. The two also share a love for southern living and revitalizing turn of the century homes and it shows with “Home Town” big time. The show takes place in Laurel, Mississippi and is highly entertaining to the show do-it-yourself enthusiasts audience. Erin recently celebrated her 36th birthday and her husband made a sweet post on social media to commemorate the occasion. In the Instagram post, he calls Erin his “dream girl” and includes a few photos of the couple.
“Happy birthday to my dream girl,” he says in the birthday post to his wife. “You say I am the fun one, but you’re the one that we all want to snuggle with.”
Numerous fans of “Home Town” also chime in to wish Erin the happiest of birthdays and share just how much they love the show.
“Happy Birthday, Erin!” a fan writes in the replies. “You guys are the sweetest couple. I love watching your show and can’t wait for what you will do next.”
“You guys are an inspiring couple in more ways than one,” another fan says. “I hope you have a great birthday, Erin.”
Yesterday, Erin also took to social media to share how thankful she is for her loving family. The interior designer married Ben in 2008 and the two started “Home Town” in 2016 and it has become one of HGTV’s most-watched television shows.
“I am so lucky to have this family for my birthday,” the “Home Town” star writes. “Thank you for making me feel so special every day of my life.”
In her Monday social media post, Erin also shares a few photos of Ben and their young family. One of the four photos also shows the happy family setting up for what looks like a birthday party.
Though they were married in 2008, the couple began dating each other in 2004. The couple first met through Erin’s work with the yearbook where they both attended college.
“The yearbook staff had to decide the 10 most interesting people to feature in the yearbook,” Erin recalls in a previous interview. “Discussing who is it going to be and everyone raised their hands and said Ben Napier that guy is awesome.”
The “Home Town” stars became inseparable shortly afterward and would wed just a few years later. They now have two young children and are loving parenthood.
