Some things are just a given. Halloween, for example, necessitates haunted houses, trick or treating, and good ole pumpkin carving. Apparently, bobbing for apples is also a family favorite albeit a much tamer tradition nowadays than it used to be. Hoards of celebrities are jumping to the ‘Gram to show off how they’re taking on the festivities this year including the likes of Pat Sajak, Barry Williams of “The Brady Bunch,” and GMA Host Michael Strahan. The latest celeb to join the party? None other than HGTV’s “Home Town” star Erin Napier. She’s getting into the spirit with a Jack O’Lantern this year.

Erin Napier reveals that pumpkin carving was a family affair this year in her latest Instagram post celebrating Halloween. The caption describes how her daughter Helen designed the Jack O’Lantern face and her husband, Ben Napier, actually did all the carving.

Fans jokingly ask if he used shop tools to carve the masterpiece. However, the answer is no. He relied on “just my multi-tool or oscillating saw” instead, per his comments. Check it out:

Many also point out the “Home Town” stars’ impressive porch seen in the background of Erin Napier’s post. But, don’t bother trying to get a closer look. She and her husband Ben have never actually taken fans on an official tour of the house for one particular reason. In a past interview, they revealed it’s because “We guard our time here fiercely.” Erin further explains this comment revealing that “Home is the only place I feel I can drop my guard. I don’t have to perform here.”

The Future and What’s Most Important to the Napier Clan

Though it looks like business is booming and big things are ahead for the Napiers, one value remains constant. That value is family. The “Home Town” stars can’t stop gushing over their daughters on their social media channels and don’t expect that to change any time soon.

The happily married couple sat down with PEOPLE at the end of last year to discuss how they “keep family a number one priority.” They also discuss how they keep their spark alive by continuing to “court and date” each other, despite being married. Ben tries to surprise Erin each day with something new, while Erin does her best to “make [Ben’s] life a little easier whenever she can.”

At the end of the day, they make one heck of a team when it comes to renovating homes.
