Season 13 of Storage Wars is here and it started off with a bang as Brandi Passante showed up in a big way. Right away, the longtime star of the program stole the show.
Well, Passante was looking to make money right away. This season she appears to be on a mission to earn as much money as possible and really dominate the show. It helps that Barry Weiss made a surprise return on the show, as he had been away for eight years, previously. Anyway, had money to spend and took a big risk at the first storage unit she saw. Her eye and curiosity about that particular unit paid off, though.
What Storage Wars Moment Won It For Brandi?
You might have thought the furniture items of that first unit would not end up being a big snag for Passante, but you would be wrong. It hit for her in a major way and it cost her a measly $165. It was the combination of the furniture items of that first unit and the music player that was also a vintage version that resulted in a huge net profit for Brandi. Yes, her haul that only required $165 investment turned out to be worth $2,500. If my math is correct, Outsiders, that means she walked away with a net profit well over $2,000. It’s important to remember this was just her first storage unit she looked at as well. First one, and she walks away with over $2,000 in profit. From some old furniture items and a vintage record player? That’s enough to win this week of Storage Wars.
Things have changed on Storage Wars, though. Her longtime bidding partner on the program, Jarrod Schulz, split with Brandi, but, thankfully for the fans, both will continue to appear on the popular A&E program going forward. The only difference is that they are not working with one another anymore. This is not going to be a problem for Brandi, at least not in the early stages, it appears, as she cleaned up in the opening episode of Season 13.
Of note, Barry Weiss returned to the program as previously mentioned. This was a stunner. Not just for the cast of the show, but also a stunner for the viewers watching at home. You never know what to expect while watching the program, but you certainly don’t expect a moment like this. He even returned to Storage Wars in style, in a black 1939 Lincoln Zephyr. Yes, it was pretty cool and Weiss confirmed he is not only back but he has a new outlook on bidding and that he may be a force to be reckoned with on the show’s 13th season moving forward. New episodes air on November 9 at 9 EST on A&E.
