On the 32nd anniversary of the death of Lucille Ball, her daughter shared a photo of them in Ball’s memory. It is a photo that clearly displays the love between this mother-daughter team. As fans of “I Love Lucy” will know, Ball was the star of the iconic television show and a legend of American television.

That daughter is Lucie Arnaz. She is one of the two children Lucille Ball shared with her first husband. That first husband was Desi Arnaz. He was also her costar on “I Love Lucy.”

Their other child was a son, whom they named Desi Arnaz Jr.

Lucie Arnaz shared her tribute to her mother via Instagram on Monday (April 26). Her famous and beloved mother passed away on April 26, 1989. The photo Arnaz shared is an adorable close-up shot of her embracing her mother. They are smiling and clearly enjoying the moment they were sharing together.

In addition to the adorable mother-daughter photo, Lucie Arnaz shared a caption filled with hashtags showing love for her mother.

Fans of ‘I Love Lucy’ Share Their Love With Lucie Arnaz as Tribute to Her Famous Mother

Unsurprisingly, fans of “I Love Lucy” were very happy to share their thoughts about the photo Lucie Arnaz shared of her with her famous mother. Fans shared their thoughts in response to Arnaz’s Instagram photo.

“Beautiful mother/daughter picture! I can’t believe your mom has been gone 32 years! I remember like it was yesterday. Sending lots of love your way!” one fan shared.

“Gone but never forgotten!” another posted.

“Thank you for sharing your mom with us and many generations to come,” read another kind response.

In addition, some of them talked about where they were when they heard that Lucille Ball had passed away in 1989.

“I was watching Days of our Lives on NBC, while ironing. A ‘Special Report’ interrupted with a photo of Lucy and her (date) of birth and this date. I immediately started crying and sat down while hearing the devastating news of Lucy passing away. That image haunts me every time I pick up an iron. My one regret is not having met her in person. She is my idol and miss her! She lives on in my heart. Thankfully I have all of her tv shows and movies on dvd. RIP Lucy,” another fan shared.

“I cried more at her passing than I did for any of my own family members, ” read another post in honor of the “I Love Lucy” star.
