With Election Day having finally arrived in the United State, Jase and Missy Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame shared a Bible verse with their fellow Americans and fans.

Taking to her Twitter account “@MissyDuckWife” Tuesday afternoon, Missy quoted Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Jase Robertson later retweeted his wife’s expression of her faith with the comment: “Amen! Now go vote, people!”

Also on Tuesday, John Godwin, a friend and colleague of the Robertsons, took to social media on Election Day, tweeting: “We done it! Go Vote.”

Jase also shares how his Christian faith has impacted his life in “Good Call: Reflections on Faith, Family, and Fowl.” Jase details how viewing nature while duck hunting led him to God in the book. He also discusses growing up with an alcoholic father, among other topics. Contributing to the 2014 book was Mark Schlabach.

Jase and Missy Robertson aren’t the only members of their family to share their Christian faith online recently.

Patriarch Phil Robertson appears in a recent YouTube video discussing which presidential candidate is “closer to Jesus.” He goes on to express his support for Donald Trump. “Trump is pro-God, pro-life, pro-self defense, pro-second amendment, pro-duck hunting,” Phil says. He later adds, “I’m going with Donald J. Trump. He’s come a long way in the spiritual area. So, I’m sticking with him.”

Phil also took to Instagram and again expressed his feelings about the 2020 presidential election on Monday, Nov. 2. A caption of a photo showing him wearing camo states, ““Vote for leaders who will promote religious liberty, protect our rights to practice Christianity in every public square, and live lives aligned with Jesus Politics.”
