During a live Q&A on Instagram, courtesy of his fiancé – actor Shailene Woodley, ‘Jeopardy!’s current guest host and Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed his favorite category while “on the show.”

This means, of course, that Rodgers isn’t speaking to his favorite category to host. Rather, he answers the question from his time on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” in 2015:

“My favorite ‘Jeopardy!’ category while I was on the show was probably… the Bible category,” Rodgers reveals with a smile. “I pick that because I grew up in the church, and I feel like Mark and Kevin weren’t going to be ready for that category. And I got 4 out of 5,” he smiles of his then-rivals during the celebrity matchup.

Of course, the Bible category would do Rodgers well. He became “Celebrity Jeopardy!” champion during his run, and developed a strong bond with the show as a result. And now, just six years later, the Green Bay star is hosting his “all time favorite show,” and couldn’t be more excited about it.

After working her way through Rodger’s admittedly “impossible” looking handwriting, Woodley then asks the ‘Jeopardy!’ guest host “how many hours did you spend studying” for the show – courtesy of another curious fan named John.

“John, thanks for the question!” Rodgers lauds. “I spent a ton of hours. I was quarantined in Montreal for a lot of the beginning of the [NFL] off-season, hanging out with this lovely lady right here,” he smiles to Woodley. “Quebec has some really tight COVID rules. So I was with a lot of down time.”

In addition, Rodgers reveals he “watched every episode” of ‘Jeopardy!’ available on Netflix “multiple times” during his quarantine before filming. He also went in search older episodes on his phone, too, scouring the internet for anything that would be helpful before hosting. So much so, in fact, that Rodgers is unsure just how many hours he spent studying for his guest hosting tenure.

“I don’t know, babe, what do you think?” He asks Woodley.

“He watched so much ‘Jeopardy!,’ you guys,” she adds.

“Yeah… probably 100 hours,” Rodgers smiles.
