Following the news that the new Cleveland Guardians logo fell off the MBL team’s store on the first day it was opened, Jeopardy! legend Matt Amodio took to Twitter to share his reaction to the incident.
“Somebody check the Hope Memorial Bridge to make sure this is just Cleveland Guardians failing as usual and not the actual Guardians’ fault,” the Jeopardy! star declared in his tweet. The post featured a picture of the incident’s aftermath.
According to News5Cleveland, the new Cleveland Guardians team shop sign was up for about 30 to 40 minutes before it came crashing down on the concrete. The sign even ripped some of the stone facing from the wall. Despite the incident, the Cleveland team’s long-time mascot, Slider, took to Twitter to share a snapshot of him posing with the new logo. Fans were also able to purchase gear featuring the MLB’s team logo on Friday (November 19th).
The official team logo was changed earlier this week. Anthony Controulis, Cleveland Guardians Communications Manager, shared, “We’re taking the next major step. We’re really kind of launching the Cleveland Guardians era at Progressive Field.”
‘Jeopardy!’ Star Matt Amodio Reveals Who Is His Favorite Host on the Game Show
During his recent visit to the Dan Patrick Show, Jeopardy! legend Matt Amodio revealed who is actually his favorite host on the long-running game show. “I give a terrible answer every time. They all are my favorite hosts. You can’t have favorites”
Amodio also stated that having different hosts on Jeopardy! Is actually not as big of a factor as he expected. This is due to the fact that everything is the same on the show’s set.
While also chatting about running out of personal stories to share on the Jeopardy! stage, Amodio explained that he is a boring person. “I was worried about what I was going to say my first day. And it kept going and going. I was asking friends, ‘Is there anything interesting left about me?’”
When asked if he wants to compete against other Jeopardy! stars Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer, Amodio stated, “I would love to have the opportunity. I’m sure they would wipe the floor [with me]. But it would be fun. It would be fn to see what they would be like in person.”
In regards to how he prepared for Jeopardy! to begin with, Amodio said he just likes having knowledge. “I gather it all throughout my life and think that would be something Ic an impress somebody by knowing later on. A current even now is in the news, but 10 years alter would be an impressive pull from deep in my memory.”
He went on to add that his knowing various things augments his social life. “I’m a good conversation [starter] for the right type of person.”
