As Oz revealed via Instagram, he prefers to wind down with a good book.

Dr. Oz is doing something unprecedented during his time as guest host. If you weren’t aware, his “Dr. Oz Jeopardy!” features the television personality giving followers a classic “Jeopardy!” style clue and category each day an episode he’s hosting will air. For his version, the questions and answers are all related to Dr. Oz.

“I’ll be hosting ‘Jeopardy!’ for the next two weeks,” Oz began his first post for the virtual game. “So, to make it fun we have a daily dose of Dr. Oz’ Jeopardy!’ for you.”

Fans Still Puzzled as to Who Will Be Next Permanent ‘Jeopardy!’ Host

As Dr. Oz’s stint as “Jeopardy!” guest host nears the end, it’s difficult not to think about who will take their permanent place behind the podium. After Dr. Oz, the next person to guest host the classic quiz show is NFL star, Aaron Rodgers.

According to the show’s website, the Green Bay Packers quarterback will host from April 5-16, followed by celebrity news anchor Anderson Cooper from April 19-30 and “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker from May 3-14.

Even though fans at home are getting to see many people try their hand at hosting, it seems like the fans have already decided on a permanent host: Ken Jennings. According to the “Jeopardy!” GOAT, the show will have a permanent host next season, but that he doesn’t know who production will choose to fill the coveted spot.

“I’m not being coy,” he said, according to My Edmonds News. “I don’t know who that is. ‘Jeopardy!’ and ‘Wheel of Fortune’ are multimillion-dollar properties for Sony TV. Those things just print money, and they are going to take this decision very seriously.”

As a consulting producer for “Jeopardy!,” he helps out with categories and helps find contestants. However, Jennings recently said he hopes he gets “another chance” to host the beloved game.

The “Jeopardy!” champion and alum hosted the show for a six-week stint earlier in 2021. He was the first guest host following Alex Trebek’s death in November 2020. Since Jennings, Katie Couric, and Dr. Oz have had their turns behind the iconic lectern.
