Aaron Rodgers makes a terrific living playing in the NFL. But Jeopardy fans are clamoring for the quarterback to become full time host.

Rodgers’ time as guest host on Jeopardy ends Friday. But he’s loved being at the podium of the long-time quiz show for his two-week stint.

He tweeted: “I. Love. This. Game. Every night is something new and different.”

And his newfound fans love him right back, so much that they want him as a permanent host. Jeopardy executive producers have used a rotation of celebrity hosts as they search for a permanent replacement for Alex Trebek, who died in November.

Aaron Rodgers Fans Are Using Social Media to Push for Him on Jeopardy

Here’s a sampling of some of the Aaron Rodgers Jeopardy love on social media:

Wrote another fan of the quarterback: “Keep, keep, keep Aaron Rogers. I am sold! #jeopardy

One fan critiqued Rodgers’ delivery but liked the overall Jeopardy package. “I find @AaronRodgers12’s delivery on #jeopardy slightly yawn-worthy, but for some reason, I like him. He genuinely wants the job and I’m secretly sorta rooting for him.”

Still another has an idea for Aaron Rodgers, post-football of course.

One fan also loves him far more than Mehmet Oz, who proceeded Rodgers as guest host. He wrote: “Aaron Rodgers is better than Dr. Oz as Jeopardy! host and I would also trust him more as a doctor.”

Aaron Rodgers is 37. He’s played for the Green Bay Packers since the team selected him in the first round of the 2005 draft. So sometime soon, he’s got to figure out what his life will look like post-football.

So far, he’s made another life decision with his engagement to actress Shailene Woodley. Using her Instagram account, she posted a video about her “super sexy” fiancee to hype Rodgers’ appearance on Jeopardy. She then appeared with Rodgers to answer questions on Instagram Live.

Aaron Rodgers will be busy with football, soon. The nine-week NFL off-season program begins next week. Then training camp starts, mid-summer.

And Jeopardy has more guest hosts. CNN’s Anderson Cooper is next up at the dais.
