As his time as the guest host on Jeopardy! comes to an end, Aaron Rodgers reveals his feelings toward the hit game show.

After two blissful weeks, Aaron Rodgers is preparing for the day he’s been dreading since he stepped foot on the Jeopardy! stage. The day he will have to step off of it.

Aaron Rodgers is #Grateful

In a tweet from both the popular game show and the MVP quarterback, his feelings for the show are captured perfectly.

Last night, the Jeopardy! social media accounts shared a clip from a recent episode. A contestant named Dennis requests the “Title” category for 400. It said, “In the 1960s, these midwesterners earned five NFL championship trophies.”

There was silence among the contestants. After the bell sounds, Aaron Rodgers holds up both his hands and looks at the three. With a very calm voice and a smile, he states, “Green Bay Packers.”

Rodgers has been the starting quarterback for the Packers since 2008 but was drafted 24th overall in 2005 for the teams. During his first few years, he played backup to Brett Favre.

The video’s caption says, “@AaronRodgers12’s expression says it all. @packers.”

We were all thinking it.

Aaron Rodgers quote tweeted the video, however, expressing his admiration for the game show.

“I. Love. This. Game. Every night is something new and different#grateful #.”

Not Football Experts

This isn’t the only time Jeopardy! contestants have struggled when it comes to sports questions.

In a video from 2018, the late Alex Trebek went all the way down the “Football” category with not one answer or even a guess. Finally, the beloved host jokes with the players.

“Let’s look at the $1,000 clue, just for the fun of it.”

The question has to do with the name of the Viking’s iconic defensive line that took the Minnesota team to four Super Bowls. Alex Trebek looked at the three contestants and hilariously commented on their football knowledge, or lack there of.

“If you guys ring in and get this one, I will die.”

Naturally, no one rang in. The answer was the Purple People Eaters. Aaron Rodgers would have been so disappointed.

Next ‘Jeopardy!’ Hosts

After Alex Trebek’s unfortunate death in November, the show has been bringing in celebrities that will host Jeopardy! in two-week increments. The star-studded list is as follows, Ken Jennings, Mike Richards, Katie Couric, Dr. Oz, Aaron Rodgers, Anderson Cooper, Bill Whitaker, Mayim Bialik, Savannah Guthrie, and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.
