Ken Jennings is busy guest hosting Jeopardy! in place of the late Alex Trebek and is doing a swell job of it.

When he isn’t hosting the show, however, he is making people laugh on social media with his outlandish comments. His most recent humorous tweet on Friday drew many laughs.

In the hilarious social media post, he is responding to a recent tweet from IGN touting the remake of a movie classic. Paramount will be remaking the 1997 hit movie face/off in the near future and Ken Jennings has a suggestion for the plot.

“A remake of the movie face/off, which stars John Travolta and Nicolas Cage, is in the works at paramount and will be directed by Godzilla vs. Kong’s Adam Wingard,” the tweet says.

The movie announcement certainly drew a rise out of movie buffs who are excited about the possibilities the remake will bring. Face/off is about an FBI agent and terrorist swapping faces as they try to track and destroy each other. The classic action flick received positive reviews and remarks when it hit the big screen in 1997.

Barrowing from another movie, Ken Jennings makes a funny suggestion for the plot that draws the laughter of many.

“Do it like Bill and Ted 3,” the former game show contestant says. “The guys have plucky daughters who also switch faces.”

Jennings’ tweet drew the attention of social media getting more than 300 “likes” and couple of comments and retweets.

Ken Jennings as Guest Host

Ken Jennings is largely considered the most successful game show contestant ever. In 2004, he went on tear, winning 74 straight games of the popular quiz show.

Since his passing last year, show producers have turned to celebrity guest hosts to serve in Trebek’s role while selecting a new permanent host. Ken Jennings has done a commendable job of hosting the show but his time on the show is expecting to end in a few days on February 19. He may also be in contention for the full-time gig once the show decides to go that route.
