‘Jeopardy!’ Star Ken Jennings References 1990s Movie ‘Junior’ in New Hilarious Post About ‘Me and The Gang’

Ken Jennings may not be the guest host of “Jeopardy!” anymore, but he’s still finding a way to entertain his fans.

His Twitter account has been his go-to place for sharing his thoughts, “Jeopardy!” related or not. In this case, he shared a photo from the movie “Junior” and wrote, “Me and the gang after we get the vaccine.”

It’s not completely clear exactly what he means by the photo. Given the context of the movie, it doesn’t make complete sense. Perhaps many of us are just not at the same level as Ken Jennings. In fact, considering he is the winningest contestant ever on Jeopardy!, we’re quite confident hardly anyone is on the same level.

In the movie “Junior” a man agrees to undergo a male pregnancy using the developed drug Expectane.

Perhaps Jennings believes that a side effect of the vaccine will be pregnancy (it is not). The photo could also just be his way of saying he’ll be excited to be in close contact with his friends again.

What is ‘Junior?’

Given his performances on “Jeopardy!” fans know that Jennings is well-rounded in just about everything. Whether this is history, literature, film, or anything else.

Perhaps this is why he brought up this old 1994 film that had mixed reception upon its release. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny Devito, and Emma Thompson.

Schwarzenegger and Thompson received Golden Globe Award nominations for their performances. Patty Smyth wrote the theme song, “Look What Love Has Done,” which was nominated for an Academy Award.

The film has a 36% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. According to Jennings’ IMDb page, he is listed under “The Simpsons,” “Murphy Brown,” and “The (206)” each for one episode. He is also an additional crew member for the video game “Red Dead Redemption II.”

Ken Jennings ‘The Chase’

Recently Jennings ended his time hosting “Jeopardy!” and executive producer Mike Richards took over for his turn. Next will be Katie Couric from March 8 to March 19.

That doesn’t end his appearances on game shows, however. Jennings currently has an obligation with the show “The Chase.”

“Ken Jennings did a great job, but he’s unavailable due to obligations with his show, The Chase. So as the producer, my job is to quite literally live the mantra, ‘The show must go on.’ So let’s do what Alex did 8,244 times. Let’s play Jeopardy! and prove that nothing can stop this show,” Richards said on the show.

He is teaming up with other former “Jeopardy!” players James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter to be a part of this new show. The three of them will rotate as the show’s “chaser,” who is a quiz genius trying to stop the others from winning cash prizes.

According to Variety, the show is a part of ABC’s effort to get deeper into the game-show arena.
