Hollywood actor and icon John Travolta took to social media over the weekend to wish daughter, Ella, a happy birthday.

Ella, the daughter of John Travolta and the late Kelly Preston, turned 21-years-old this past Sunday. It is Ella’s first birthday without her mother, who passed away last summer after battling breast cancer. John Travolta and Kelly Preston have three children together with Ella being the middle child.

Travolta took to Instagram on Sunday to pen the special birthday wish to his daughter. The “Grease” and “Pulp Fiction” star includes a beautiful photo of his daughter in the social media post.

“Happy 21st birthday to the most beautiful, kind human being an artist I know,” Travolta writes in the caption space. “Your dad adores you!”

Travolta concludes the caption with a red heart emoji. The Sunday Instagram post took in more than 376,000 “likes” in less than 24 hours. It also brought in nearly 10,000 comments with many social media users taking the opportunity to also wish Ella a happy birthday. Other commenters made note of what a beautiful daughter John Travolta has.

Travolta and Preston also have a 10-year-old son named Ben. Ella had an older brother, Jett, who tragically died in 2009 at the age of 16 from a seizure.

John Travolta Turned 67-Years-Old Earlier this Year

Earlier this year, it was Ella wishing her father a happy 67th birthday on social media. John Travolta turned 67-years-old in February and his daughter was one of the first to send her father birthday well-wishes.

“Happy Birthday to the most incredible man I have ever known,” she wrote in the Instagram post. “You are not only the best Dad ever, but you are also my best friend. Thank you for raising us, helping us and loving us and thank you for all of the good you do every day. The world is so lucky to have you and so are we.”

The father and daughter duo stole hearts earlier this year in their Scotts Miracle-Gro Super Bowl commercial. The ad sees John Travolta and Ella recreate a famous scene from the actor’s breakout movie “Grease.”
