Josh Duggar Arrested in Arkansas by Federal Agents

Federal law enforcement says former “Counting On” and “19 Kids” reality star Josh Duggar is currently in custody in Arkansas Thursday following his arrest.

Duggar is in holding – without bail – after federal agents arrested him in Washington County, Arkansas. Currently in a detention center, TMZ has obtained Duggar’s mugshot (which you can see below) alongside what legal details are available.

Once a reality star on TLC, the network eventually pulled the plug on any ventures with Duggar following his highly-publicized child molestation scandal.

Currently, however, Josh Duggar’s only known legal dispute is a “civil lawsuit. This lawsuit was “filed against him for real estate fraud,” TMZ reports. The civil lawsuit may connect to his November 19 scandal, in which U.S. Homeland Security agents searched his place of work in Arkansas – a car dealership. This case was in connection to a federal probe.

In his mugshot, Duggar sports an odd, unnerving smile. His arrest and holding without bail signals a severe crime on his part. In short: the former reality star is unlikely to escape this legal battle without consequences.

The last known incident with Duggar involved the raiding of his Springdale, AR car dealership in which he works. The Duggar family home, however, was not.

At the time, a Duggar family spokesperson told TMZ that no “member of our family is the target of any investigation of any kind.” Clearly, however, this is not the case.

“Living a life in the public’s eye has taught us that it is best not to reply to every rumor and piece of ‘fake news’ that [comes up] online. It would be a full-time job if we [were] to do so,” the spokesperson continued.

Current details, though, are unavailable. The situation is ongoing, and light is sure to be shed on Josh Duggar’s crimes in the near future.
