Keanu Reeves is an actor known not only for his legendary roles but his unparalleled kindness. In regards to the latter and in true Reeves fashion, he paid for family, friends, and co-workers to attend the new Matrix movie’s premiere weekend.

Back on December 18 of last year, The Matrix Resurrections had its premiere event in San Francisco. To ensure everyone involved with the movie was included, he invited all of his representatives (agents, manager, etc.), family, friends, and other key insiders who helped him train to celebrate. To further show his appreciation, he handled all travel expenses too. This included jet travel and hotel accommodations, premiere tickets, and even a special brunch. Since it’s Keanu Reeves we’re talking about, he gave them other gifts as well, The Hollywood Reporter stated.

One of the people attending the Resurrections event happened to be Chad Stahelski. Serving as Neo’s stunt double in the Matrix trilogy and later directing him in the John Wick franchise, he said this is par for the course for Reeves. “He flew a bunch of us up here. He’s incredibly generous. In the audience tonight will be so many people that helped him, from his martial art trainers to jiu-jitsu trainers to hair and makeup to his stunt crew. He makes sure that his friends and family are here. He’s epic.”

It’s not surprising at this point, really. For The Matrix Reloaded, he gifted the entire stunt team their own Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 saw him giving that film’s stunt crew Roley Submariner watches.

When THR reached out and asked why he went so far for everyone, he answered quite modestly. “Yeah, it’s great to be able to share our experiences and lives together.”

Keanu Reeves: A ‘Quiet and Private’ Person

Though Keanu Reeves is known for his generosity and humility, Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan provided another aspect of his personality recently. According to her, he’s also a “quiet and private” person.

Speaking to AOL for an interview, Bridget Moynahan talked about her various roles and the co-stars she’s worked with. Playing Keanu’s wife in the John Wick franchise, she’s had the opportunity to work with him several times. Saying she’d previously heard he’s a private person and somewhat reserved, she confirmed it herself.

“He’s very quiet and very private,” Moynahan said. “I had always heard that about him, and he kind of still was. But we had a really nice time. We were playing a couple that was in love so that was really fun to do.”

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Moynahan got a chance to know Reeves too well since, you know, her character in the movies is dead.
