Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton are coaches and co-stars on “The Voice” together. However, beyond their co-worker status, the two are pretty avid supporters of each other’s careers and are all-around good friends.

This was evident when Kelly Clarkson showed up with friends to listen to the voice of Blake Shelton. He was playing a show in Denver, Colorado. Kelly Clarkson posted about the experience on Instagram.

The “Since U Been Gone” singer wrote, “@blakeshelton is KILLIN’ IT tonight in Denver!!! I’ll give him this #PrinceOfCountry … His setlist is INCREDIBLE!!” She also posted a separate picture alongside two of her friends and wrote, “Get it @blakeshelton we are LIVIN’ OUR BEST LIVES!!! THANK YOU.”

Not only did she seem to enjoy herself at the show, but Clarkson certainly agrees with Shelton’s royal status as the Prince of Country. She was hyped to see his performance and wrote on her Instagram story before the show, ‘Seein’ my brother from another mother tonight y’all!!”

According to Daily Mail, she also surprised concertgoers when she performed a duet with Blake. The two performed the song “Lonely Tonight,” which was at the top of the charts back in 2014.

Blake Shelton is currently on his Friends and Heroes 2021 Tour. His next show will be at the Bash on the Bay Country Music Fest alongside Runaway June on August 25. He also has upcoming performances in Nashville, Tennessee, Evansville, Indiana, Rosemont, Illinois, and North Charleston, South Carolina.

Shelton kicked off the tour in Omaha, Nebraska on August 18. He will be joined by guests like Martina McBride, Tracy Byrd, Trace Adkins, and Lindsay Ell on the road.

Clarkson could also be seen at a Las Vegas George Strait show a week ago. She wrote at the time, “Friends, Vegas, Top Golf, and George Strait… I dare you to have a better time than me right now.”

The girl’s trips and concert experiences are an excellent way for the singer to stay positive. “The Voice” coach is currently in the process of finalizing her very public and long divorce from Brandon Blackstock. They got married in 2013 and have two kids together — River Rose and Remington.

Clarkson filed for divorce back in June 2020. According to People, Clarkson has said she is “more than fine” and that she is just focusing on making her children her No. 1 priority.

Kelly Clarkson And Blake Shelton Close Friends

Brandon Blackstock was once the manager for Blake Shelton. However, since the divorce, Blackstock has stepped away from the music industry. He no longer has involvement in Shelton’s management.

Despite all the drama, the sibling-like relationship between the two “The Voice” coaches has not wavered.

“Blake and Kelly are extremely close. Their friendship and bond goes beyond the business,” a source said to US Magazine.

It seems like nothing can break the pair’s absolutely iconic friendship full of teasing and tough love.
