In a new photo, Kelly Clarkson looks thrilled as she looks forward to the return of both The Voice and her own show. The singer is clearly busy juggling both of these productions, but thankfully, she still has time to update us on Instagram.

A new gorgeous photo of the singer/talk show host/competition show judge/awesome human shows off her gorgeous smile.

“Looking forward to the new week like… [smiley emoji] So many exciting things are happening! Season 3 of @kellyclarksonshow premieres, @NBCTheVoice is back, and a very exciting announcement!” she wrote. No idea what that announcement will be… but fans are excited regardless.

Clarkson has been a coach on the voice since its 14th season. Since 2019, Clarkson has hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she’s had plenty of celebrity guests. But it’s her work on The Voice that a lot of people have found so endearing. The singer’s personality really shines on the show. She’s bubbly with a competitive spirit, and a total joy to watch. But she’s got some fierce competition this year.

The First Episode of The New Season of ‘The Voice’ Is Right Around the Corner

The Voice comes back on September 20th, and Kelly Clarkson is coaching alongside a major new coach. On top of returning coaches John Legend and Blake Shelton, Clarkson will be competing against the one and only Ariana Grande.

The exciting addition of Grande should bring major ratings to the show. The singer, known for Thank U Next, and Dangerous Woman, has a legion of superfans ready to cheer her on. John Legend has said that she’s the most relevant and biggest singer to join the panel of coaches yet, and it would be hard to argue with that. Blake Shelton, meanwhile, talked about the sheer noise from the live studio audience.

“You know, I’ve seen a lot of different coaches over the years join this panel. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a reaction quite like the reaction that we get when Ariana walks in here from our live studio audience. My ears are still ringing from when she walked out and introduced herself to the crowd. It’s unbelievable, Shelton said in a promo video

Apparently, she’s fit right in as a host and has been incredibly entertaining in the process. But why would a mega-celeb like her join the show? Well, Grande is a MASSIVE fan.

“You can tell she’s been a fan of the show for a long time. She’s awesome behind the scenes, in the hallway, in the dressing rooms, in the meetings,” Shelton said of the singer.

But whether or not her incredible singing talent and clear love for the show will be enough to beat Shelton, Clarkson, and Legend is hard to say. But with the voice returning on September 20th, fans are just days away from seeing Ariana Grande start picking members of her team.
