Kelly Clarkson Parties in Vegas with Friends in New Photo Amid Divorce from Brandon Blackstock

Kelly Clarkson’s messy divorce battle has been a dizzying mess. Which is why the star’s latest Instagram post is a positive sign there is light at the end of the tunnel. Amid her legal dealings over money and custody, “The Voice” judge took a day off to have fun with friends.

“Friends, Vegas, Top Golf, and George Strait…. I dare you to have a better time than me right now,” Clarkson captioned the photo.

The Top Golf facility in Las Vegas showed an amazing display of sunshine on the field where Clarkson and two of her friends are presumably smiling beneath their masks. Clarkson looks sunny and relaxed with her shades on.

While the singer’s professional life has been on the rise, her personal life has had recent issues. Since her recent split with husband and music manager Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson has been dealing with a prolonged divorce in court.

Kelly Clarkson Receives Good News in Filings

After Kelly Clarkson’s tumultuous split from her ex, she faced a myriad of uphill battles. Between securing temporary custody of her children, both minors, and having to pay spousal support, the singer has taken some hits.

Having to pay her ex almost $200 thousand a month in spousal support, Clarkson has backed down from paying for Blackstock’s Montana ranch.

“2020 has brought a lot of change also to my personal life,” Clarkson said on the show. “Definitely didn’t see anything coming that came. What I’m dealing with is hard because it involves more than just my heart. It involves a lot of little hearts. We have four kids. And divorce is never easy. And we’re both from divorced families so we know the best thing here is to protect our children and their little hearts.”

This week, the singer received some good news. Her prenup recently validated by a judge – a small but worth-it victory. Clarkson was reportedly on the set of “The Voice” when she received the good news and celebrated with her team.

“I mean, it’s no secret. My life has been a little bit of a dumpster. Personally, it’s been a little hard the last couple of months. I’ve been talking to friends that have been through divorce. I don’t know how people go through that without having some kind of outlet because it is the worst thing ever for everyone involved,” Clarkson said in 2020.

Clarkson and Blackstock filed for divorce in 2020 after seven years of marriage. The two had been dating since 2011 and got engaged in 2012. They wed in 2013 and are parents to two children, River and Remington.
