Kelly Ripa Reveals New Tattoo in Celebration of 25th Wedding Anniversary to Mark Consuelos

Talk-show host Kelly Ripa makes no secret about her love for husband Mark Consuelos. She took it to a new level on their wedding anniversary.

Ripa, who hosts “Live with Kelly and Ryan” alongside Ryan Seacrest, went out and got a tattoo to commemorate 25 years of marriage to Consuelos.

The tattoo simply has their wedding date on it. Ripa and Consuelos were married in Las Vegas a year after they first met, according to an article from the Daily Mail.

Ripa and Consuelos were playing a couple on ABC’s classic soap opera “All My Children.” They clicked not only on the show but away from it too.

They are the proud parents of three children. Michael is 23, Lola is 19, and Joaquin is 18.

Kelly Ripa has been co-hosting “Live” since officially replacing Kathie Lee Gifford on Feb. 5, 2001. She initially worked with longtime host Regis Philbin, then Michael Strahan took over for four years. Strahan, the Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive player for the New York Giants, left to join ABC’s “Good Morning America” in 2016.

Seacrest, who made a name for himself as hosting “American Idol” and as a radio disc jockey, took over for Strahan in 2017.

Kelly Ripa Returns To Show After Taking Brief Hiatus During March

Longtime fans of Ripa’s show might know she takes time off occasionally to be with her children. Last March was no different when Kelly Ripa stepped away from hosting “Live with Kelly and Ryan” for a bit.

According to CNN, Ripa typically takes the first two weeks off in March. Entertainment reporter Maria Menounos, actress Ali Wentworth, and musician Harry Connick Jr. filled in for her.

Ripa won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show in 2012 for her work on the show.

Now she’s talked about leaving the show at some point with her cohost Seacrest.

“I talk about this with Ryan (Seacrest) all the time because I was really looking to retire like by now, but Ryan Seacrest is so fabulous to work with and he is such a good friend,” Ripa said in an interview with Parade in 2017.

“We’ve been friends for two decades, and I’ve got to tell you he is really such a draw to me there,” she said. “I just love working with him so much. He makes every day feel like I’m not working and that’s when you know you have a great working relationship.”

It appears that Kelly Ripa has no intention of leaving her show soon. Morning talk-show fans probably have a few more years to wake up with “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on their schedule.
