Kid Rock is Attending Alabama-Tennessee and Already Has a Cigar Lit: PHOTO

Things are just getting started at Bryant-Denny Stadium for Alabama and Tennessee, but Kid Rock has already lit his victory cigar. The singer was spotted pregame with one in his hand. It is tradition for the players of the winning team in this rivalry to smoke cigars after.

Alabama has won 14 straight against the Volunteers. It has been quite some time since the Vols were able to light up in the locker room after the game. Last year, the Tide rolled all over Tennessee 48-17. The Vols are hoping they can stop the College Football Playoff hopefuls.

Kid Rock is ready to celebrate a win, though. Check it out below.

Kid Rock has long been a supporter of Alabama athletics, most notably the football team. He has worn jerseys on stage, sang about the state, and more. So, it looks like he is confident that the Crimson Tide is leaving with a W tonight. As a 25.5 point underdog, Tennessee is going to have to shock the world. Tuscaloosa is not a forgiving environment.

Earlier this season, Alabama was upset by Texas A&M. That was a road game and the Tide did not play up to their typical standard. With a loss on the season, they cannot afford to take another L if they want to make it to the CFP.

Kid Rock Hoping to See an Alabama Win

If Kid Rock is already smoking cigars before the game, he thinks the chances are good against the Vols. He isn’t the only one, but could the artist have put a jinx on his team? As the game gets underway there are a few questions for both teams. Nick Saban is hoping to get the win and move on to the next week as the last month or so of the regular season approaches.

Coming into the game, Hendon Hooker was not confirmed in the days leading up. However, he was declared the starting QB prior to the game. Hooker, a transfer from Virginia Tech has helped Tennessee develop the offense this season. Early in the year, they struggled heavily. Now, they are hoping to put themselves into a good bowl and build on the success.

Despite the momentum that Tennessee has, Alabama is still one of the best teams in the country. They don’t lose often. And, they don’t lose twice in one season even less often. With that loss to A&M already on the record, the Tide knows they have to be perfect to finish the year. Kid Rock and the rest of the fans watching will have to wait and see if the Vols go away like the four score underdogs they are, or if they face more of a challenge than expected.
