Kid Rock Reportedly Selling Detroit Mansion and Boathouse for $2.2 Million

Kid Rock has reportedly sold his 6,000-square-foot Detroit mansion for $2.2 Million after an unsuccessful attempt last year.

The 49-year-old singer listed his three-story colonial-style home built in the 1930s for $2.2 million on realtor.com. Rock bought the house in 2012, and it is one of the only homes located on the Detroit River.

The house boasts six bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms across four different levels. Rock recently updated the residence, and some of the amenities include a boathouse, an attached two-car heated garage, an outdoor shower, and a state-of-the-art entertainment system.

The boathouse also has jet ski lifts and a deck for entertainment, according to the listing online.

Once entering the house, the grand foyer opens up to a center hall that leads to the back of the residence, where another deck awaits the guest. Next to the entrance is a spacious dining room, a living room with a fireplace and bar area, and a kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances.

The second floor consists of the main suite bedroom, two guest bathrooms, and a study with built-in bookshelves.

The third floor is a carpeted attic containing three small bedrooms, one bathroom, and a central sitting area.

On the other end of the house, the basement is made up of a theater room with large leather seats, a bar, a professional poker table, and a large mural of Ritchie’s Twisted Brown Trucker band. The ultimate man cave.

In July of 2019, Kid Rock tried to sell the house for the same price but was unsuccessful. Although it is unknown how much Rock bought the house for in 2012, the mansion’s listing price was $465,000 a year before the purchase.
