2022 has some exciting concerts and festivals in store! More specifically, the Mississippi Valley Fair is welcoming Kid Rock, Toby Keith, and many more incredible country artists. It will take place August 2 through 7 in Davenport, Iowa next year. This is going to be an unbelievable show, so get your tickets soon!
As the fair continues to grow, they are adding Kid Rock and Brantley Gilbert into the mix. That means you can catch Rock’s performance on August 2 and Gilbert’s on August 6. Some other country music artists are also appearing on this stage in August. They include Jimmie Allen, Toby Keith, Carly Pearce, and several others.
What to Know About the Mississippi Valley Fair
To begin, thousands of people gather at this fair every summer. It is one of the largest fairgrounds in the Quad Cities. And with the addition of performances by well-known country artists helps bring larger crowds in.
Additionally, the Mississippi Valley Fair started in 1919. According to the MVF website, its mission is to provide a showcase of family-oriented programs. They can be innovative, entertaining, educational, rural, urban, competitive and most of all, a great time for all ages.
If you and your family want to experience the summer of a lifetime, the price of daily admission for this event is reasonable. For instance, adults can purchase tickets for $10. However, this includes only one day at the fairgrounds. Children ages four through twelve are $5 while kids under three are free. In order to purchase this great deal, you can go online and the fair team will email them to your mail directly.
On the other hand, there is also a 2022 WLLR Pepsi Pass costing $100 with a limit of 1,500 cards. Fortunately, participating in early admission includes a Fun Card. For those that are wondering what a Fun Card is, it costs $80 and is good for the entire week. This deal goes until June 15, 2022. Then it goes up to $100 until the fair begins.
Unfortunately, the fair will not sell any individual tickets. But the Fun Card allows one entrance per day at all of the Grandstand performances. Throughout the festival, ticket punchers will punch your ticket upon entrance of the fairgrounds and Grandstand. You must have a Fun Card to enter the performances!
