Korie Robertson Posts Fun Photo with Sadie, Honey James After They Accidentally Coordinate Outfits for Church

by Matthew Memrick

After the group accidentally coordinated their church outfits, “Duck Dynasty” star Korie Robertson had some fun posting a photo with her daughter Sadie and granddaughter Honey James.

In Korie Robertson’s photo, three generations of Robertson posed with 89-day old Honey James Huff wrapped in her mom’s loving arms.

“I love it when we show up to church and our outfits coordinate,” the grandmother of four said. “Somehow that happens all the time in our fam 🤗

Robertson also shared Psalm 40 and how it spoke to her at church.

She finished the post by signing off, “God is the same, yesterday, today, and forever!”

In May, Korie and her husband, Willie, revealed on their “Duck Dynasty” show that they were almost victims of a break-in.

Fox News promoted the “Duck Dynasty” clip as Korie shared some of her thoughts on gun control.

“A lot of people, they can say they’re against them until something happens,” she said. “And then like, ‘Oh where’s the person with the gun?’ Or ‘I wish I had a gun.”

She then shared that she was at home with her husband during an attempted break-in. She said she was glad when she had Willie’s gun close to her. The “Duck Dynasty” star then said she got it out and was ready with it on her bed.

She then went further, saying that although the intruder was close to getting in, the cops arrived quickly. Still, she was thankful she “had a gun to defend” herself.

“I didn’t want to have to use it,” Korie Robertson said. “But in that moment, when there’s an intruder in your home, I felt really, really thankful that I had a gun to defend myself.”

“Duck Dynasty” Robertson, Family Go To Church

The family likely went to White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La., on Sunday. Phil Robertson, Korie’s father-in-law, is an elder there.

Fans of the “Duck Dynasty” show can attend the church in person or online.

“I attend this church online,” Massachusetts resident Scotty Roddy said on Google.com. “We have thousands of churches to chose from but, none of them preach the gospel like WFR Church does. They explain the stories of the bible in a way that is relatable & understandable. God Bless The Robertsons and everyone in West Monroe, LA.”

After Phil Robertson’s GQ Interview in 2013, the church made headlines after the “Duck Dynasty” producers suspended Robertson for nine days. In the Washington Post, senior pastor Mike Kellett said he got hundreds of phone calls about Robertson’s views.

The church is part of Churches of Christ, a denomination of 13,000 U.S. congregations.
