Now that the final episode of “Last Man Standing” has aired, star Kaitlyn Dever is taking in the sites and sounds of the American West.
Well, we’re not sure exactly where Dever is. But if her Instagram posts are any indication, she’s out west among the desert sands and mountains.
Earlier today, the “Last Man Standing” star posted a two-photo slideshow to her Instagram page. The first photo shows Dever in a dusty ball cap and loose white shirt, taking a bathroom selfie. Her cheeks are straight-up glowing, whether from sweat or makeup. The second photo reveals why she might be sweating — it shows a corral of saddled horses.
Dever just captioned the post with a little horse emoji. She didn’t say where she was or why she was there with the horses. It could be practice for an upcoming film, or it could just be for fun.
But one of Dever’s close friends (and an apparent mother hen) gave the “Last Man Standing” star a word of caution.
“Put ur helmet on – ‘mom,'” stylist Karla Welch commented on the post. Aside from Dever, Welch has styled celebrity icons Justin Bieber, Amy Poehler, Sarah Paulson, and Elisabeth Moss.
What Has Kaitlyn Dever Been up to After ‘Last Man Standing?’
Dever managed to make one last appearance as youngest daughter Eve Baxter on the finale of “Last Man Standing.” But since the premiere of that final episode in May, Dever has been slammed with project after upcoming project.
The actress’s next debut will be in Hulu’s miniseries “Dopesick,” starring Michael Keaton and Rosario Dawson. The show is slated to come out at some point before the end of the year.
The “Last Man Standing” star also has a huge role in the upcoming film adaptation of the smashing Broadway musical, “Dear Evan Hansen.” Dever will play Zoe Murphy, sister of a boy who takes his own life and primary love interest for Evan Hansen.
The film will premiere in theaters on Sept. 24, but first, it will open up the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 9. Dever shared the announcement in a message on Instagram, along with a sweet photo of her and co-star Ben Platt. The film’s “lovebirds” look deep into one another’s eyes as they share an armchair together.
“yay! @dearevanhansenmovie is opening @tiff_net. I can’t wait for the world to see this boy’s special performance,” Dever wrote.
Platt responded to the post with a simple but sincere, “Love u.”
The film’s official Instagram page also commented, “We love this!” Check out Dever’s IMDb page to see all the upcoming projects she’s working on.
