‘Last Man Standing’: Tim Allen Shares Heartwarming Photo of Cast’s Last Time Filming at Retail Store ‘Outdoor Man’

by Josh Lanier

As the finale of Last Man Standing inches closer, star Tim Allen continues to post final shots from some of the show’s most iconic locations.

He posted from inside the Baxter home during their final day of shooting at that location. This time he posted a group shot from inside Outdoor Man, the outdoor supply store he owned in the show. He got most of the main cast for the group shot. Kaitlyn Dever, who plays Allen’s daughter Eve Baxter, didn’t make it in time for the photo. But she did make the curtain call after filming, Allen noted in the caption.

Several fans chimed in with some of their favorite moments from the show that took place at Outdoor Man.

“The retail space had many great areas during different episodes,” one fan replied. “The climbing wall, the shooting gallery, the stacks of prepper items, Canoe Kyle had no help with, clothing area when Mandy helped Kyle notice shoplifters, framed spearhead, so many.”

“So many fun scenes… I liked the one with the bear down in shipping, hilarious! Also like the scenes with Kyle and Ed, sweet! Then you helping Vanessa start teaching again, and of course the Vlogs..! The show is like nothing else, so sad to see it go. Love you all!” another woman posted.

‘Last Man Standing’ Has Survived Big Changes

Nine years is a long time to spend with a show. Shows rarely make it anywhere near there, so fans have built up a lot of love for the Baxter clan. And they’ve had to put up with a lot of change.

Last Man Standing switching networks was a big one, and fans have endured throughout them all.

For instance, Dever hasn’t been a series regular since ABC canceled Last Man Standing after the sixth season. She returned for guest spots during the last three seasons, but she has found major Hollywood success since then. Though it’s almost a certainty she’ll make another appearance this season in the finale on May 20.

And fans were shocked when they realized at the beginning of Season 7 that Molly McCook had replaced Molly Ephraim as Mandy Baxter on the show.

Though one constant fans can count on is that Tim Allen will remain on TV basically forever.

He already has his next job lined up in Assembly Required, which reunites him with former Home Improvement co-star Richard Karn. The History Channel reality competition pits builders against each other as they construct and repair unusual items.

Unfortunately, that show’s first season is coming to an end Tuesday, and History Channel hasn’t picked it up for a second season yet. Fans have already started a lobbying campaign to make that happen.
