OK, “Law & Order” fans. Start talking amongst yourselves after seeing this photo featuring both Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay.
Fans are clamoring to see if Meloni, who plays Elliot Stabler on “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” and Hargitay, who plays Oliva Benson on “Law & Order: SVU,” will be together this season.
While there’s nothing set in stone about the “Law & Order” franchise stars appearing together, fans can at least take a look at this picture and dream.
Obviously, the photo shows Hargitay having a FaceTime chat with Meloni. Now, what could they have been talking about? Only they know for sure.
In case you wanted to see what Hargitay posted on her Instagram account, then take a look at this picture she posted on Friday night.
Again, it is obvious that these two actors definitely have a lot of respect NS LOW for one another. Also, they maybe have shared time as families throughout the years.
Meloni and Hargitay have worked together for so long that they connect well whether on the phone or on the set. Their acting abilities come across on TV in old “SVU” episodes or new “Organized Crime” ones.
‘Law & Order’ Franchise Has Benefitted From Meloni, Hargitay Characters
The “Law & Order” franchise has definitely benefitted from having both Meloni and Hargitay as a part of two shows. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Outsiders know Meloni played alongside Hargitay for 12 seasons on “SVU.”
But Meloni returned to the “Law & Order” family last season as he stars in “Organized Crime.” Hargitay is entering Season 23 as Oliva Benson on “SVU.” Meloni, though, did have a crossover appearance on “SVU” last season.
Obviously, when you work together with someone as long as they have, a friendship forms. The romantic tension between Benson and Meloni’s Elliot Stabler is always on the mind of devoted “Law & Order” fans.
Now, will there be another crossover appearance this coming season? No one knows except for the shows’ writers. But it’s always in the back of those fans’ minds.
‘Organized Crime’ Star Admits He Spent First Season Walking Into New World
When it comes to “Organized Crime” for Meloni, he shared what Stabler was going through in the show’s first season.
“You know, you’re a white cop of a certain age,” he said, “you’re not allowed to do a lot of things, and you’re being challenged on your bona fides on both sides. How woke are you? And how much of a man are you?”
