If you could pull up a chair with detectives from Law & Order: Organized Crime, do you have any idea where would you sit?
For the fans out there who don’t know, Law & Order: Organized Crime premiered on NBC back on April 1, 2021. It is a spin-off of its long-running sister series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. It was also created by Dick Wolf, who is the executive producer along with showrunner Ilene Chaiken, Terry Miller, Fred Berner, Arthur W. Forney, and Peter Jankowski. It’s the seventh TV series in the entire Law & Order franchise.
The series stars Christopher Meloni in the same role that saw him become a fan favorite on Law & Order: SVU — detective Elliot Stabler. The new show also boasts a “single-arc” storyline that will take multiple episodes to resolve.
On Thursday afternoon, the official Law & Order Twitter account posed a difficult question to their nearly one million followers. They posted a picture of the Organized Crime crew hard at work. In doing so, they ask fans of the show “where they are sitting” if they were able to pull up a chair.
“Time to pull up a chair. Where are you sitting? #OrganizedCrime” Law & Order tweeted.
Although we aren’t sure where exactly we’d pull up a chair, fans of Law & Order: Organized Crime on Twitter seem to have their minds made up. There is only one answer in their minds — the chair that Christopher Meloni is holding.
“In the chair that Detective Elliot Stabler is holding,” confidently says.
“Either next to @DaniMoneTruitt or @Chris_Meloni,” another fan replied.
“I’m sitting next to Stabler period,” a fellow Twitter user commented.

Before the show premiered back in May, It had been 10 years since we last saw Christopher Meloni’s Elliot Stabler character. But he is back starring alongside Danielle, Mone Truitt, Tamara Taylor, Ainsley Seiger, and Dylan McDermott.
We know now that we will get at least two seasons of Organized Crime. The show will air on all Law & Order Thursday night in the fall. Law & Order: SVU will air at 9 p.m. while Organized Crime will begin at 10 p.m.
Meloni teased an upcoming moment in the show between his and McDermott’s characters in a recent interview.
“We have an altercation or two, or an interaction or two. You know, our courses must intersect. I think [Wheatley’s] going to get the short end of that deal,” said Meloni. “A lot of things get answered, but then a couple other big questions arise, so there’s going to be a continuing saga, I believe.”
