If you ever wanted to see what Law & Order: Organized Crime star Christopher Meloni’s dog looks like, this is your chance.
There is no doubt what Christopher Meloni is best known for. He starred in the NBC legal drama Law & Order: SVU (Special Victims Unit) for the first 12 seasons of the show. Since then, however, he has brought back his character, detective Elliot Stabler, to star in a spin-off called Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Even though he has made his name as a big-time actor, Christopher Meloni still enjoys a family Thanksgiving just like the rest of us. As a matter of fact, not only does Meloni enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, it looks like his adorable dog does, too. He or she appears to be sleeping with their tongue and snoring at the same time.
Now, we all know what it’s like to have a post-feast nap after Thanksgiving dinner. But Meloni’s hilarious pup takes that to the next level. Check out his most recent post on social media down below:
“Post thanksgiving tryptophan haze,” Meloni captioned the clip.
You may have heard the old myth that eating turkey on Thanksgiving makes you sleepy. For those who don’t know, turkey contains an amino acid called tryptophan. It helps the brain release chemicals like serotonin and melatonin. Lots of people around the world attribute eating juicy turkey meat to feeling tired. But scientists around the world have debunked the myth.
Nonetheless, Law & Order: Organized Crime fans were loving the hilarious video of Meloni’s dog sleeping after Thanksgiving. And so many of them can personally relate.
“He is all of us…” one fan said.
“I LOVE that dog lol” commented another Instagram user.
“He’s probably dreaming about the leftovers,” a third person joked.
How to Watch ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’
Unfortunately, we will all have to wait to see Christopher Meloni’s funny dog in a future social media post. But thankfully there are plenty of ways to see Meloni in action as Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime.
Now, you can expect the newest episode of the show to air on NBC on December 9. The next episode will be a two-hour crossover special between Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order: SVU. We will finally get to see Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler reunite.
But as you wait for the new episode, make sure to get caught up if you are not already. There are several ways to watch the show even if you don’t have cable TV. For starters, there are a ton of basic TV antennas that can access NBC since it is a local broadcast network. But if that doesn’t work for you, you can also watch NBC on a live TV service like Sling TV, Fubo TV, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, and AT&T TV Now.
