‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’: Christopher Meloni and His Dog Notice ‘Paparazzi’ in Cute Pic

by John Jamison

Of all the words to describe Elliot Stabler actor Chris Meloni, “adorable” is not exactly at the top of the list. But maybe it should be? The “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star plays a tough, tortured detective on the new hit show from Dick Wolf’s franchise. When you catch him at home with a dog in his lap, though, he’s just a guy who can’t believe he’s fortunate enough to be hanging out with a dog.

The “Law & Order: Organized Crime” star posted a series of pictures on Instagram. He and his pup are objectively adorable in all of them. Who cares about paparazzi when you’re in the company of such a good boy?

Needless to say, “Law & Order: Organized Crime” fans and Chris Meloni fans alike lost it upon seeing all of this cuteness.

“how do i apply to be this dog?” wrote one aspirational Instagram user.

“He got that ‘do not disturb’ look on his face. ps I have fallen in love with yet another dog apparently,” another responded to Meloni’s post.

“A man and his dog. What could be better. Oh, wait… Elliot and Olivia!” another added, making their thoughts on the relationship between Stabler and Benson abundantly clear.

Good guy Chris Meloni got his start in the “Law & Order” universe alongside Mariska Hargitay when “SVU” began in 1999. He stepped away from the franchise in 2011 to pursue other opportunities in his acting career. But Dick Wolf convinced him to return to the fold last year. This time, however, Meloni has a show that’s pretty much all his. And it differs from “SVU” enough to where the lines aren’t blurred.

‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Star Danielle Moné Truitt Speaks on Her Character’s Relationship With Elliot Stabler

Working with Christopher Meloni’s Elliot Stabler isn’t easy. And that’s not saying anything about Chris Meloni as an actor, but everything about Stabler as a character.

Since he’s returned on “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” Chris Meloni’s Elliot Stabler has been a bit of a wildcard. His partner on the new show is Sgt. Ayanna Bell, played by Danielle Moné Truitt. She also happens to be his boss. That dynamic has led to its fair share of tension.

“We definitely have each other’s back. Stabler and Bell definitely have each other’s back even when though they do bump heads. But they only bump heads because they have each other’s back, if that makes any sense. Because like, you know, especially Bell, because she’s his boss. She respects him, of course. But at the end of the day, if anything goes wrong on these cases, it’s going to fall back on her before it falls back on him,” Truitt told TV Insider.
