‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’: Christopher Meloni Trolled by Costar’s ‘Zaddy’ Earrings During Season 2 Filming

Law & Order: Organized Crime star Chris Meloni got hilariously trolled by his co-stars earrings. Meloni, who plays Elliot Stabler on the hit show, went viral earlier this summer for his photoshoot where he wore a lime green tank top and hot pink pants. Today, his co-star Ainsley Seiger brought the photos to life with an awesome pair of earrings.

“by the way Operation Earrings is happening tomorrow byeeeeeeeeeee,” Seiger wrote yesterday. Fans were immediately pumped.

Seiger wore the earrings to set and decided to see how long it took for Meloni to notice.

The funniest part about it is the earrings are super hard to miss.

In total, it took the Law & Order: Organized Crime star 31 minutes to notice the actor’s earrings. Seiger said to keep an eye on Meloni’s Instagram.

“Style, beauty, and grace on the set of #L&O:OC,” Meloni wrote.

Meloni and Seiger star alongside each other on the show, with Seiger, a new actor, playing Jet. Jet is a huge fan-favorite character. She’s a young yet incredibly skilled hacker with the Organized Crime bureau.

Lots of the actors on set are incredibly close to each other. For instance, Danielle Moné Truitt, who plays Officer Ayana Bell on the series, just posted a fun series of pictures of her vacation at the Meloni’s home. Now, they’re all on back on set. Thankfully, as Seiger has demonstrated, that doesn’t mean they can’t have fun.

Fans can Expect a Lot More Action from Season 2 of ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’

Earrings aside, these actors are working on a very intense project. Law & Order: Organized Crime season 2 won’t be like its last, which was only eight episodes long due to COVID-19 related scheduling conflicts. This season will instead be three times longer than its predecessor, with three eight-episode-long arcs that each sound incredible.

Executive producer Dick Wolf explained his vision for season 2 in a May interview with TV Line.

“The first third of the season is ‘The Godfather.’ The second third is ‘American Gangster.’ And the last third is ‘Scarface.’ And these villains are going to be really bad guys that give [Detective Elliot Stabler] a constant source of energy, outrage, belief in justice, and a different way of pursuing criminals than we’ve had before,” he said.

He also confirmed that there will be more crossover events between Law & Order: Organized Crime and Law & Order: SVU, so Thursday nights this fall are going to be fantastic for Law & Order fans. The only downside, however, is the all-new Law & Order: For the Defense spinoff was scrapped by the network before production even began.

Still, the two Law & Order shows fans have now are doing very well. Both shows will come back on Thursday, September 23rd starting at 9pm on NBC.
