Law & Order: Organized Crime just gave fans a new look at Elliot Stabler in a teaser clip for season 2. In the teaser, Stabler appears to go undercover to crack a case and takes a beating in a boxing ring. The clip gives fans a look at Stabler throughout different points in the early season, and fans are excited.
“I’ve seen how crime in New York City has changed,” a voiceover during the preview says. “The old school-wise guys are gone, but the bullets, the bodies… they’re still the same. “
And it looks like the group that Stabler is trying to take down has “short tempers” and “military-grade weapons.”
That definitely puts Stabler in a tricky position. He also has a new look with a more full beard and casual clothes, probably as a part of his time undercover.
This is far from the only teaser Law & Order: Organized Crime has posted over the past few days. Another one shows Stabler and Bell questioning a suspect with a personal connection to Bell. Unlike usual, Stabler is the one who actually has to hold Bell back.
And if you’re worried about what all these new villains coming into season 2 means for our guy Richard Wheatley, don’t be. Dylan Mcdermott, who plays Wheatley, will be returning for season 2.
Another familiar face fans will see on Law & Order: Organized Crime is one fans absolutely love to see on the show. Olivia Benson actress Mariska Hargitay will appear on Organized Crime again for crossover events. People are thrilled to see Elliot stabler and Olivia Benson together on screen again, and it doesn’t look like that’s stopping any time soon.
Law & Order: Organized Crime season 2 is also going to feature plenty of new actors
Ron Cephas Jones Will Join ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ For Season 2
Actor Ron Cephas Jones is set to join the show for season 2. Jones is known for his work on This is Us, Truth Be Told, and Lisey’s Story. The actor was a fan of the show before landing the part and has teased that season 2 is going to be fantastic.
“I started to watch the first season of “Organized Crime” with Chris Meloni and I thought it was just amazing. And so to get the call to come back and be involved this season with a nice seven to eight-episode arc [was great]…So far I’ve got a couple of episodes in and it’s just been incredible,” Jones told Entertainment Tonight.
Jones will be playing Congressman Leon Kilbride. We don’t know much about this character other than he’s a strict button-up politician sort with a lot of strong connections.
You can catch season 2 of Law & Order: Organized Crime when it comes back next week on Thursday, September 23rd.
