If you’re a Law & Order fan, you may have noticed that Law & Order: Organized Crime season one is unavailable on Hulu. In the past, shows like Law & Order: SVU has been available on the platform, so why isn’t Organized Crime?

While in the past you probably could have relied on Hulu to dish out the first season of the show once it’s done, unfortunately, this is the streaming war era. It’s likely that the licensing looks different than it used to now that NBC has its own streaming service, Peacock.

But you also can’t find the season 1 episodes on Peacock. They are available for purchase on places like iTunes and Amazon Prime, but it’s unclear why the Law & Order: Organized Crimes season 1 episode are unavailable on Hulu.

Some fans Are Speculating About the Lack of Season 1 Episodes on the Platform

Some fans on Reddit are wondering why there’s a lack of episodes on Hulu. In a thread about the issue, one fan speculated about the licensing.

“Probably because of licensing agreements with NBC. I’m not 100% sure, but it seems like SVU is the only current NBC show with all its episodes on Hulu whereas the rest only have their current season available,” the fan wrote. Hopefully, there’s just a delay, and fans will be able to catch up on Law & Order: Organized Crime once the episodes are put on a streaming service.

You can also catch re-runs of Law & Order: Organized Crime on NBC, but in this day in age, it’s never the ideal way to watch something.

The Recent ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ Episodes have Fans Worried for Elliot Stabler

It may be hard to catch up on season 1, but there’s already plenty to go over with season 2. It’s following a new plotline. Elliot Stabler has gone undercover but he’s not in great shape. His behavior has been seriously off the rails. While some viewers think it’s a bit far-fetched, others are fine going along with the ride.

But whether or not you like the new arc, one thing is clear: Stabler is not doing well. It’s clear that the grief and the PTSD is starting to wear on the former SVU detective. The upcoming Law & Order: Organized Crime episodes will follow Stabler’s undercover journey as he continues to spiral.

If you want to tune in, Law & Order: SVU airs at 9/8 central on NBC and Law & Order: Organized Crime follows right after. While you can always just watch one, both of the shows frequently crossover.

So if you’re a fan of one, you may like seeing your favorite characters on the other.

As far as what’s available on streaming goes, right now, it looks like only episode eight of the first season is available on Peacock along with all of the new season 2 episodes. On Hulu, nothing from season 1 is available, but just like Peacock, you’re free to catch up on season 2.
