Law & Order: SVU star Diane Neal just dropped a fun Kayaking video from her trip to Oregon. Neal played Casey Novak on the series.

The video she posted to Instagram of her Oregon trip is definitely a bit envy-inducing. The pacific northwest is known for its beauty and this clip shows that off. The video also features her adorable dog, Charlie.

“Ah, what a fun trip to see loved ones in the #pnw #oregon was spectacular! Had so much fun in so many bodies of water- #coast, #lakes, #columbiariver This is #kyaking with #charliechappy He was a real champ the whole trip:),” Neal wrote.

Neal played Casey Novak on Law & Order: SVU from 2003 to 2008, as well as 2011 and 2012. She’s also had roles in Blue Bloods, Suits, and NCIS: New Orleans.

While the former star is living it up in the Pacific Northwest, current stars of Law & Order: SVU are back to work.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Is Filming a Landmark 23rd Season

Law & Order: SVU has been on TV since 1999. It now has fans who are younger than the show itself. Season 23 will feature Law & Order: SVU‘s 500th episode. With Mariska Hargitay still at the wheel as Olivia Benson and Chris Meloni back with the franchise as Elliot Stabler on Law & Order: Organized Crime, the 500th episode is sure to be spectacular.

Most shows are lucky to get to episode 100, but the Dick Wolf-created procedural isn’t slowing down. Showrunners have remained quite secretive about what they have in store for such an occasion. But it’s safe to say that something big is planned. Hopefully, fans will get to see a lot of former cast members come back.

“We have begun to talk about episode 500, but I can’t say more than that,” showrunner Warren Leight told to Give Me My Remote in January. “I think we have a pretty cool idea for that.”

And even though 500 episodes is momentous, Leight and the rest of the producers don’t want the show to be cheesy by breaking too many fourth walls.

“I would like at least part of the 500th to be [ours]…sometimes it’s nice to have it be your birthday party and not a group birthday party,” he said. “It’s okay for people to come to the party, but it feels like 500 is an insane milestone. And so I would hope we have a moment to acknowledge it. Obviously, in the episode, we won’t say happy 500—but maybe I will look for a way to cheat that in.”

Episode 500 should be earlier in the season, so keep an eye out. You can catch the return of Law & Order: SVU on Thursday, September 23rd on NBC. Right after, Law & Order: Organized crime will also come back for season 2.
