There is still over a week until we get a new episode of Law & Order: SVU. So, naturally, fans are debating topics on message boards.

On Reddit, fans debate, vote, and discuss so many topics. The SVU subreddit usually has some kind of discussion going on. This time, fans are talking about what the best episodes of the show are, after Stabler left. So, there’s a lot to choose from here. There are a number of seasons that don’t include Chris Meloni’s character. The user that made the post offered their own opinion.

“I’ve seen that lots of people [aren’t] very satisfied with SVU after season 12 and [neither] am I,” the post says. “Many characters that were on SVU since the first seasons left in season 12 e.g. Judge Petrovsky, Donnelly, Sister Peg, Elliot himself. In spite of this, there are some episodes I’ve really appreciated.” Then, the user shared a list of episodes ranging from season 12 to season 20.

There was a lively discussion in the replies. There were a few users that agreed with the original post and others that chimed in with other thoughts.

u/Theli11 said, “Seasons 13-17 (Amaro + Dodds) are really good in general. Season 12, 20, and 21 are the seasons that I don’t really like.”

The overall consensus among these Law & Order: SVU fans was that for the most part, the show was good. However, seasons 20-22 seem to be the most disappointing for viewers. When the season continues on December 9th, it will be a big episode. It will be the big crossover event with Organized Crime. The Richard Wheatley trial looms large and will be featuring some old friends and foes. It is going to be an episode viewers don’t want to miss.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Saddest Benson Relationship?

Over the course of the show, Olivia Benson has had more than a few love interests. However, there are some that stick out as particularly bad. Romance doesn’t come easily for the Captain and that has shown time and again. Of course, Elliot Stabler doesn’t have a perfect record, either.

One of the past romances that stick out, in particular, is with Ed Tucker. Played by Robert John Burke, Tucker was the head of the Internal Affairs Bureau. The reason this one sticks out is probably that Tucker tried so hard to work against the SVU detectives. Benson and Stabler had a few rough patches with the IAB head. Eventually, Tucker and Benson grew close and even took a trip to Paris together.

The relationship ended when Benson got a promotion, and Tucker was ready to move on to retirement. He wanted to settle down, but Olivia has bigger plans. She isn’t ready to give up her job and move on. So, in Season 18 the two split. Tucker would get married and Benson is still doing her thing.
