Law & Order: SVU star Kelli Giddish leads a private life—so private that she went through a divorce and got engaged without anyone knowing.
On June 20th, 2015, Kelli Giddish married Lawrence Faulborn on the sandy shores of New Smyrna Beach, Florida. During their marriage, they had two children, Ludo and Charlie.
According to an interview with Smashing Interviews Magazine from this October, Faulborn has absolutely no ties to the entertainment industry. And Giddish admitted that when she was looking for love, she intentionally dated outside of Hollywood.
But surprisingly, Giddish and Faulborn divorced some time ago. And the world didn’t notice. Her online celebrity bios haven’t even been updated to reflect the split. And Google knows nothing of the event. To add even more shock to the story, the actress is engaged again—to a mystery man.
When Kelli Giddish told the magazine the news, she admitted that she’s “very excited” about her upcoming nuptials. But when the interviewer tried to find out who the lucky fellow is, Kelli just laughed and stayed silent.
We’re assuming that her new beau isn’t in the entertainment industry either because she was quite adamant that she didn’t want to marry a celebrity. But we could be wrong since she refused to give her fans any clues about her fiance’s identity.
We respect and admire her desire for privacy, though. And we wish her many blessings in her new relationship.
‘Law & Order: SVU’: Rollins Actor Kelli Giddish Gives the Scoop on Her Dog Who Appears on Show
When Kelli Giddish joined the cast of Law & Order: SVU in 2013, she brought her dog, Frannie Mae, along. Sometimes, her four-legged pal would hang out with the crew backstage. And other times, Frannie Mae would star as Giddish’s Amanda Rollins’s on-screen companion.
But Frannie Mae hasn’t been an active cast member lately. And during a recent interview, the reporters at Smashing Interviews Magazine wondered what the pup has been up to.
“She’s asleep on the couch right now,” Giddish shared. “It’s been hard with COVID. She used to come with me every day to work. So she was kind of a set dog in the catering department.”
Apparently, Law & Order: SVU fans aren’t the only people missing Frannie either. The cast and crew had grown quite fond of the dog because she behaved herself better than the human actors.
“They say she’s the most well-behaved actor that they’ve ever worked with. She’s so good,” the actress admitted. “She’s much better than we are (laughs). She’ll speak when you tell her to speak. She’s amazing and much more well-trained and manageable than we are. But she’s great.”
