Are you ready for “Law & Order: SVU” to wrap up its season on Thursday night? Well, star Mariska Hargitay is giving you a sneak peek.

Hargitay went on her Instagram account and shared a little teaser for the 22nd season’s final episode that pops up on NBC at 9 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. Central. Also, if you miss Thursday night’s show, then you can catch it on Friday on Peacock.

But here’s that quick look at the season finale as Olivia Benson and her “Law & Order: SVU” crew get ready to close out another season.

While you see this clip, one thing that isn’t shown is an appearance from actor Christopher Meloni. This season, Meloni returned to play Elliot Stabler in the spinoff “Law & Order: Organized Crime.”

Cinemablend is reporting that Meloni will return for “Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing.” But what in the world is bringing him to his old show? Not many clues have been given around Meloni’s return.

So all of you “SVU” fans can tune in on Thursday night and see what happens.

‘Law & Order: SVU’ Actor Breaks Record Once Held By ‘Gunsmoke’ Stars

Hargitay, who is the daughter of late actress Jayne Mansfield, has been on “Law & Order: SVU” for 22 seasons. That’s a lot of time on the set and in front of the camera for her.

According to Primetimer, Hargitay now holds the top spot for being the lead actor in a live-action primetime series.

She passed “Gunsmoke” and James Arness and Milburn Stone as both actors played in the CBS classic TV western for 20 seasons.

Hargitay also broke “Gunsmoke” actress Amanda Blake‘s 19-season mark.

But when it comes to continuously being in one role in one show, she’s got the mark. Show creator Dick Wolf happens to be a big Hargitay fan.

“As SVU moves into its third decade, Mariska has become an iconic figure as a star, advocate and crusader for women,” Wolf said in a statement. “She is an enduring champion of the movement to end sexual violence, and dozens of episodes have dealt with the very same issues that have shifted into the spotlight in this country in the past two years.

“Mariska is a delight as No. 1 on the call sheet and, to me, a true friend,” he said.

Sounds like she’s going to be hanging around as long as she wants to play Olivia Benson on “Law & Order: SVU” with a boss like that on her side.
