Lori Loughlin Out of Jail, First Photos Released

If you woke up today wondering what Lori Loughlin looks like now that she’s out of jail, you’re in luck. The actor’s back in LA, and she’s in the streets for some good ol’ community service.

Full House alum Lori Loughlin is once again out and about in her place of residence: LA. Now free of the big house, Loughlin is serving her community through – you guessed it – community service. According to several trades and gent @poshspicelatte on Twitter, “Lori Loughlin is doing her community service at Marianne Williamson’s Project Angel Food.”

Her Los Angeles post-prison tenure looks mighty comfortable, too. Page Six‘s coverage of Loughlin’s return to LA proper sums it up best:

“Loughlin was dressed casually in jeans and a “California” sweatshirt and accessorized with sneakers, a face mask, a Project Angel Food cap and her wedding ring,” the trade reports. Couldn’t have said it better. While the actor is certain to carry the burden of her actions and sentence with her for life, it’s good to see her contributing to her community. Even if it is required by law.

Lori Loughlin Serving Food to “Those Impacted by Life-Threatening Illnesses”

Loughlin, 56, spent a total of two months behind bars for breaking the law(s) amidst her circle’s high-profile college admissions scandal.

In all fairness, the actor is at least doing her part for a beyond-worthwhile organization. Project Angel Food “prepares and delivers food to those impacted by life-threatening illnesses,” Page Six continues.

For a short recap on what got her here in the first place, allow us to lay some facts:

May of 2020 saw Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli plead guilty to paying a whopping $500,000 to “secure” the admission of their two daughters to the University of Southern California. Their daughters, 21 and 22, were to be “rowing crew recruits,” despite having no experience nor credentials for joining the university’s team.

After pleading guilty, Loughlin was to serve two months in prison. In addition, she was to perform 100 hours of community service, alongside a $150,000 fine.

Page Six also points out that “Loughlin was set to complete her community service hours. A second insider told the publication that Loughlin had been working with Project Angel Food. In addition, she is working with children with learning disabilities. The trade adds that the actress was ‘going above and beyond the hours that she is required to do.

Her husband, however, lost his bid for early-release this January.
