Matthew McConaughey and Brad Pitt shared a special moment and McConaughey is reliving it today on Super Bowl Sunday. It’s “alright, alright, alright,” with us.

McConaughey shared a video on his Instagram of him and Pitt exchanging a football for a beer.

Pitt passes McConaughey a beer and then the two throw the football back and forth. They are standing on balconies in New Orleans.

Imagine walking through New Orleans and watching Matthew McConaughey and Brad Pitt play catch and then getting made fun of by quarterback Drew Brees. Sounds like a day to remember.

McConaughey is a longtime Texas football fan. He also once interviewed Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady for Interview Magazine.

Matthew McConaughey Super Bowl

Besides drinking beer and tossing around a football, McConaughey is celebrating Super Bowl LV with his own commercial.

He will be the star of the Doritos commercial. So far, fans are saying that is performance in his commercial is “flat” and “two-dimensional.”

According to USA Today, that’s mostly because he’s playing the role of “Flat Matthew.” He struggles with everyday activities in a two-dimensional version of himself. For example, he gets flattened by a football, ignored while standing at a coffee shop, and is literally blown away while out walking his dog.

He even is in a scene of the late night talk show with Jimmy Kimmel and Mindy Kaling. Kimmel says, “Did you drive here? Or did you travel by fax?” Eventually, he comes back to life with the help of Doritos new 3D Crunch product.
