Meadow Walker, daughter of the late Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker, remembers her father with a throwback photo on the 8th-anniversary of his death. Walker passed away in a car accident at the age of 40. Meadow was only 15 at the time.

“I love and miss you endlessly,” she wrote. “Today and everyday I celebrate your life, your love. And you, my best friend.”

Since the loss of her father, Meadow has become a celebrity in her own right. The now 23-year-old has a successful modeling career. Additionally, Meadow started the Paul Walker Foundation. Dedicated to encouraging acts of goodwill that empower young people, the foundation offers a variety of services, including a scholarship for youths involved in their community.

Meadow created the foundation as her ultimate act of remembrance for her father. As the website states, it is “an enduring light of Paul’s unique spirit.”

Vin Diesel Shares Emotional Tribute to Walker

Meadow wasn’t the only one who posted in remembrance of her father. Walker’s friend and costar Vin Diesel also shared his thoughts on the loss of his friend.

“It’s been eight years today… and not a day goes by that I don’t reflect of the brotherhood we were blessed to have… but you know that,” Diesel posted on Instagram. “Tragedies in life are always followed by life’s blessings if you just stay open and have faith.”

Alongside his kind words about Paul Walker, the actor posted a photo of Meadow with his daughter, Hania Sinclair. Sinclair was the maid of honor at Meadow’s wedding, and Diesel walked her down the aisle in place of his friend. This makes sense considering that 54-year-old actor is Meadow’s godfather.

“Look at this photo Pablo, it will make you smile,” Diesel continued. “The same angel that you helped me prepare for in the most beautiful way with your brotherly advice is the same angel that precious Meadow asked to be her Maid of Honor.”

Will Meadow Join the Fast and the Furious?

Because of Meadow’s commitment to her father’s legacy, many fans of the Fast and the Furious franchise want the model to appear in one of the films. Since Paul Walker’s character is still alive, this provides a variety of options for her inclusion in the series.

Additionally, several of Walker’s former costars indicated an interest in a cameo from Meadow. Jordana Brewster, who played Walker’s on-screen love interest, said she feels an appearance from Meadow would be “beautiful.”

“I feel like she feels so comfortable with us and she feels very included in our universe,” said Brewster. “And so to extend that onto being on screen would be very natural, I think.”

Meadow herself has yet to weigh in on the possibility, but her commitment to her father’s legacy could inspire her to make a cameo appearance after all.
