New photos of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne emerged over the weekend.
The 71-year-old Black Sabbath frontman was barely recognizable with new grey locks instead of his famous raven hair color.
Photos from The Daily Mail show him riding passenger in his vehicle with his now silver hair in a ponytail. His wife Sharon Osbourne appears in the driver’s seat. In one moment, Ozzy appears to yawn as he raises his hand in front of his face. He isn’t the only one making change to his hair. Sharon did the same earlier this year, showing off a more natural look instead of her signature red color.
Ozzy Osbourne and his family have been staying in Los Angeles during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The sighting marks Ozzy’s first public appearance in months. The rocker announced he is recovering from a painful neck injury that played a role in delaying part of his recent tour. He also opened up about his Parkinson’s disease in January after being diagnosed in February 2019.
Although Osbourne has not been seen out and about in months, he appeared with his family on the finale of “Celebrity Watch Party” that aired July 23.
In February, news outlets reported the cancellation of the North American leg of his No More Tours II concert due to his health challenges. However, an update given in an interview with Radio.com suggests that Osbourne insists the tour isn’t cancelled, only postponed.
In spite of his illness and injury, Ozzy declares that he refuses to walk away from his rock n roll career. “The party is on, man,” he said.
He continues,“You know the time when I will retire? When I can hear them nail a lid on my box. And then I’ll f***ing do an encore. I’m the Prince of Darkness.”
