Yes, it’s no secret that Miley Cyrus has a bit of a wild side to her personality. Some things still come as a surprise from her life.
Cyrus went on Instagram a few hours after helping Flaming Lips’ lead singer Wayne Coyne celebrate his 60th birthday. Apparently, Cyrus had such a good time that she decided to get naked and climb to the top of the Roosevelt Hotel sign in Los Angeles.
In the Instagram story, she also shared other images with Coyne. One of them is from a time where they both were around Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry. Cyrus and Coyne have been working together since 2014. She provided vocals on two tracks from Coyne’s band’s album “With a Little Help from My Fwends,” a tribute to The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”
Cyrus’ latest album “Plastic Hearts” is notable for its glam rock-influenced musicianship and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
The Flaming Lips’ most recent album was released in September 2020 and garnered positive reception from many critics.

Cyrus’ father is, of course, country music singer-songwriter Billy Ray Cyrus, who made his mark with the song “Achy Breaky Heart” and a mullet for all time.
The Cyrus family is known for incredible music ability, being a little bit off their rocker, and an iconic mullet. Miley Cyrus joined Jimmy Kimmel Live in December 2020 to share when she decided to embrace the family tradition and cut her hair into a mullet.
Quarantine due to COVID-19 has been a weird time for everyone. As a result, haircuts became nothing to judge a person on as people got creative in their routines.
Cyrus Says Her Mom Knows How To Do A Specific Haircut
For a family like hers, they are trained in the art of haircutting. Not in all kinds of styles, but for one iconic look. Cyrus reveals how her mother gave her the family mullet during her quarantine in Los Angeles.
“All of us have had to adjust, you know,” Miley Cyrus tells Kimmel. “A lot of things shut down, keeping us from doing our kind of standard routines.
“Which one of them was going to get a haircut for me, and so my mom offered, you know, my bangs- I already had bangs, were getting long and she said ‘Well, I can cut your hair, but I only know how to do one hairstyle, and I’ve been doing this since 1992 for your dad, and your brothers’ and all my mom can do is a mullet, so I had one option, and I needed it.”
She said that the mullet is something that “genetically” happens if you are a member of her family.
“You know, I think there is something genetically,” she explains. “Where it just kind of grows naturally shorter up top and longer in the back. That’s just kind of a natural shape that our hair grows in.”
