Miley Cyrus Says Her Dad Billy Ray Always Has ‘Best Advice for an Achy Breaky Heart’ in Sweet Post

by Madison Miller

Miley Cyrus has something between a “Heart of Glass” and a “Plastic Heart.”

This Valentine’s Day, Miley Cyrus is thanking one of the most important men in her life for always being there. That’s her mullet-rocking, “Achy Breaky Heart” protector dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

She wrote on Instagram, “Daddy always has the best advice for an Achy Breaky Heart. Listen to @BillyRayCyrus and take your horse to the Old Town Road & leave his ass in the past! #FatherKnowsBest.”

Not only is she giving her father a warm shoutout, but she’s also helping to promote his new remix of the popular song, “Old Town Road.” Now the Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus song feature Young Thug and Mason Ramsey.

Billy Ray Cyrus is now even joking about a Bernie Sanders remix.

The best part is that she shares an image of the iconic duo during their time on the TV show “Hannah Montana.” It features a quote from him on the show saying, “You’re better off without him. If he’s gonna choose her over you, he obviously has no taste.”

There’s nothing quite like surviving Disney Channel as a father-daughter iconic duo that brings a family closer together. He has been giving her solid relationship advice, both real and fictional, since their “Hannah Montana” days. During her time on the show, she released love songs like “Crazier” and “He Could Be the One.” In the 2009 “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” Cyrus and her father sang the sweet duet about leaving the nest and growing up called, “Butterfly Fly Away.”

Miley Cyrus MMA

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Miley Cyrus has her eyes on a popular MMA fighter. Hopefully, Billy Ray would approve.

On Saturday, Julian Marquez fought for a win at UFC 258. It was his first win since December 2017 and he ended the fight with an anaconda choke submission.

It seems like his victory gave him the courage to express his admiration for the legendary musician Miley Cyrus.

According to MMA Fighting, he told the media that he was going to walk out to Miley Cyrus’ popular cover of the Blondie song, “Heart of Glass.” He also asked the ultimate question to the pop singer in a post-fight interview, “This is my time to shine, so Miley Cyrus, will you be my Valentine?”

Sure enough Miley Cyrus saw his message. She responded back to him on Twitter by saying, “Shave an MC into your chest hair and I am YOURS … Happy VDay and Congrats my love!”

Looks like Marquez has a chance as long as he has a shaving razor and a lot of admiration. He might need to grab another win before he can get the spotlight back on him though.
